Region 11

 

*The Sittee River level is 6ft above the Kendal Causeway and falling as of 9:00 am. 

  However, NEMO continues to monitor as the water is now going down.

 

 Region 9

 *The Macal River level is below the Low Lying Bridge however, NEMO continues   to monitor the Iguana Creek Bridge.  The Belize River at Iguana Creek Bridge is    falling rapidly and no longer poses a threat to vehicular traffic.

 

NEMO advises all motorists to exercise extreme precaution when crossing the Iguana Creek Bridge.  Kendal causeway remains close at this time, however it is expected that the causeway will be open for vehicular traffic around 2:00 p.m. today 21, July, 2010.
